Rachel BuckGrant Manager - International Headquarters
Rachel Buck joins Project C.U.R.E. with a decade of work experience in the international development and nonprofit world. As part of her education at Carroll College, she was required to complete an undergraduate thesis. For this, she spent a semester in Uganda researching the impact of forced urbanization on women from the rural north. Motivated to work with grass-roots organizations that were making a positive impact, Rachel pursued her master’s degree in Nonprofit Management from the University of Central Florida. After earning her master’s degree, she continued her education, completing coursework in International Women’s Health and Human Rights and Global Health Policy. She has lobbied for increased funding for international health programs and has worked passionately to improve maternal and child health programs around the world.
When not at work, Rachel enjoys reading, attempting to keep her house plants alive, and exploring her home state of Colorado via hiking, biking, and kayaking with her son.
